Ho Chi Minh City Karate Ranks Second Overall at the 2026 National Karate Club Championships

The Ho Chi Minh City Karate delegation won 8 gold, 10 silver and 27 bronze medals at the 26th National Karate Club Championships 2026, held in Đắk Lắk Province from 8 to 18 August. The final results placed Ho Chi Minh City second overall among 70 participating delegations, while also securing first place overall in the over-18 age group.
Ho Chi Minh City entered the competition with four teams. The achievement at this national-level event marked a noteworthy milestone for the City’s karate programme at a tournament with a record level of participation.
45 medals and second overall
With a total of 45 medals, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation concluded the tournament in second place overall. Its medal tally comprised:
- 8 gold medals;
- 10 silver medals;
- 27 bronze medals.
The final standings were determined among 70 participating delegations. In addition to its second-place overall finish, first place overall in the over-18 age group was a distinct milestone, reflecting Ho Chi Minh City Karate’s strong result in the tournament’s age-group ranking system.
